My new kitten, Clarkson, is an addict – just like his owner.    

Our pot full of basil has been growing like bonkers and started to flower , I actually waited too long to harvest as basil is said to become bitter after it flowers. I pick the basil, wash thoroughly, chop finely, and freeze for use later in the year.

This week’s CSA haul includes a few surprises – we already have some cherry tomatoes and red potatoes! Other than that we got green onions, a zucchini, a summer squash, and yet another giant head of lettuce.
